Coming to Riverside for Workman's Compensation Injuries.

At Riverside we treat work related injuries from Day 1 and we accept payment from the insurance company for all services. We are on the Physician Panels for many companies in the area including City, State and Federal Employees, Teachers, The Archdiocese of Philadelphia and Aramark to name just a few. If you have been injured at work, you need to report the injury to your employer. You can ask your employer for their Physician Panel. If we are listed as the chiropractor, just call us. If we are not listed on the panel and there is no chiropractor listed we can treat you immediately, you just need to call. If there is no panel, please call the office and we will help you to get the care you need.

If you were injured over ninety days ago and still have pain, limited function or cannot get back to work, please contact the office and we will schedule you with an appointment.

In all work comp cases we strive for an initial evaluation within 24 hours your initial call to us. We will work with you and with any other doctors that we need to refer you to get you back to pre-injury status.

What to expect for a first time visit.

The initial visit will take approximately an hour (in some cases a little more). A complete physical examination including functional observation is completed. The potential for self-treatment is typically explored first consisting of education, exercise and movement therapies. Manipulation and soft tissue therapies will be employed to promote independence in self care.

A treatment plan is developed by applying my clinical experience, the most current research and the preferences of my patient to their complaints and limitations of function. Each treatment plan has specific goals and objectives with benchmarks to guide future treatment sessions.

Before you come for your first visit please have the appropriate paperwork filled out. Please see the "New Conditions" part of this page. This will expedite your initial visit.

What to expect for a return visit.

Each subsequent treatment lasts 30-45 minutes per visit. Your current condition will be analyzed, and we will move forward from that point. Absent complaints caused by trauma, the course of care usually ranges from 4 to 6 visits.
